Supplies needed:

PSP 8,9,X or XI

Animation Shop 

A tube of your choice, or you can download mine My Tube

I wrote this in PSP XI but you should be able to do this in all versions.

Ok now before we start.. Go grab your brain food! LOL.

Now, I didn’t use anything that is not already in your psp, no external filters, shapes or anything like that.

Open a New Transparent Image 500 X 500

Now flood fill the bottom layer with a color of your choice. I used black.  But to remember to chose a color that will go with the tube.

Now set your foreground color to black  (or another color of your choice) and set your background color to white.

Grab your preset shape tool and select the eclipse. And make sure that “create as a vector” and “Anti-Alias” is checked. And set your width to 4.00

Now once you have your circle drawn on your canvas. Convert it to a raster layer.

Now grab your test tool and select a font.. Select a font that is not a fat one, but not too skinny of one either. And my suggestion is that you put the 12,3,6,and 9 on it first, and then put the rest of the numbers. Doing it this way was easiest for me so I could see where to put the numbers. When I created my numbers I created them as a vector then converted each number to a raster layer so I could go back and move them as needed.

Now once you have your numbers where you want them, hide the bottom 2 layers and merge visible.

Now grab your preset shape tool again, you should have a variety of arrows in there, choose one that you like, and null out your foreground color and draw one kinda long, this is going to be one of the hands on the clock. Before you convert it to a raster layer. Rotate it some so the two hands are not in the same position.  Now convert it to a raster layer.

Now you are going to need to draw another arrow (hand) , this time make it shorter than the other one. And when you have this one done.. Convert it to a raster layer.

Now select the eclipse shape again, and draw a small circle, you can make this what ever color you want, this is going to be the dot where the hands connect in the middle of our clock. And then convert it to a raster layer.

Now resize the fairy tube to W:271 H: 475 and paste it onto your canvas as a new layer.

Add your text and watermark.

Now Right click and “copy merge” and paste it over to Animation Shop as a new animation.

Now back to your WIP (Work In Progress) click on one of your hands and then click on Image – Free Rotate – right – 45.00 make sure that the box that says “ All Layers” is unchecked, and that the box that says ”Rotate single layer around canvas center” is unchecked   and repeat this step with the other hand. And you will need to reposition the hands so they are under the center dot. 

And copy merge it and paste it over to Animation Shop after current frame.

Now back to your WIP we are going to repeat the free rotate again, you don’t need to change anything on it. . You are going to need repeat this step until you have a total of  8 frames.

Now over in Animation Shop, Click on edit – select all – Animation – frame Properties  - and change the 10 to 20 and animate It and save it and you’re done!
